We want to make you aware that due to the coronavirus crisis, unemployment benefits have been expanded to cover income lost be self-employed and independent contractor individuals. The state systems are being updated to provide for this expansion and you may be able to apply now or in the coming days.

For individuals living outside of MA and RI, google your state unemployment website for details. If there are no details on benefits for self employed or independent contractors, check back periodically. This is a Federal expansion of Unemployment benefits that residents of all state will be eligible for.
